I found an early unfinished version of this project. So I completed it, adding and modifying several of the components. I discovered on the POV news blog that Sven did a lot of other fine developments, which must have taken weeks of work!
It is spectacular. I spent thre days adjusting the files, modifying the background and the trees and finding the right angle for each view. I tried to contact Sylvain to congratulate him, but the e-mail he supplied in the file doesn‘t work anymore, after 15 years...
Drawing reasonably convincing people with POV is difficult. However, this character designed in 1999 is incredibly detailed and versatile: you can make boys and girls in various positions and attach costumes. Some details were created by Ulrich von Bek. I spent several days adjusting these to my own fantasy.
A modern city designed in 1999 viewed under different angles and lighting with very complex options including random features. I spent two months modifying many of the elements.
Four different viewangles
The same city viewed unser the same angle at different times of the day, i.e. under a different light.
The city waterline vieved from another angle.
